Oshawa man faces child porn charges – again

An Oshawa man faces new child pornography charges, while also being accused of breaching a prohibition order.

Durham Regional Police say the Internet Safety and Child Exploitation Unit executed a search warrant in March at a residence near Bond St. W. and McMillan Dr.

“During the search warrant, electronic devices were seized and analyzed,” Sgt. Joanne Bortoluss said in a statement released Thursday, explaining the results of the analysis led to the arrest of a suspect on Wednesday.

Gary Jeffries, 32, is charged with possession of child pornography, accessing child pornography and breaching an order from a sexual offence conviction.
